Jennifer Brammer

Position: Veterinary Assistant
Jen has been with MAH forever! (since 1999!) and is a key part of our hospital.  Her veterinary interests include behavioral medicine, geriatric care, and feline health.  She also manages our kitten adoption program here.  Jen lives in Lake Monticello with her two dogs, Starr and Rusty, as well as her four cats, Hannah, Cloe, Lenny, and Weeman.  Outside of work, Jen enjoys art - painting and stained glass, hiking, reading, bird watching, and generally being outdoors.  

 



Brittany Young

Position:  Veterinary Assistant (currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program, scheduled to graduate in 2011)

Brittany is originally from Newark, DE and is in Charlottesville with her boyfriend Zak, three cats - Lena, Mistletoe, and Lulu - and some fish.  Her veterinary interests include behavioral medicine and surgery.  During her free time, Brittany enjoys reading, spending time with her friends, watching movies, and spoiling her pets.

Steven Rivera

Position:  Kennel Attendant and Veterinary Assistant

Steven has been with MAH since 1999!  He is an important part in caring for our boarding animals as well as in helping us keep the place clean and running.  Steven enjoys reading, playing video games, riding his bike, and working with the animals every day. 

Courtney Hoy

Position:  Veterinary Assistant

Courtney came to us when she was attending Monticello High School and has just finished her first year at the University of Virginia!  Besides being a good Wahoo, Courtney assists us with animals in rooms and in the treatment area.
