Wanda Brubaker, LVT
Wanda graduated from Blue Ridge Community College and began her career as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Monticello Animal Hospital in May of 2001. Her veterinary interest include anesthesia and behavior. She has completed her certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional (learn more at https://fearfreepets.com/ ) She lives in Waynesboro and spends her free time traveling, relaxing at home, and spending quality time with family and friends, and spoiling her 2 dogs: Mixed Breed, Jaxon and Goldendoodle, Chevie, and 2 cats: Biscuit and Beanie.
Brooke Leatherbury Jimenez, LVT
Brooke has been with us since May of 2012 after completing the veterinary technology program at Blue Ridge Community College. Brooke graduated from Mary Baldwin College in 2010 with a primary Degree in Biology and a minor in Studio Art. Brooke enjoys interacting with clients and patients. She has completed her certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional (learn more at https://fearfreepets.com/ ) She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and being outdoors. Horses have always been a major focus in Brooke's life. Her menagerie includes a shepherd mix, a rottweiler mix, and 3 cats, Angus, Jersey, and Moo.
Brittany Young, LVT
Brittany is originally from Newark, DE and is in Charlottesville with her three cats, Mistletoe, Dot, and Alfredo. She has a bachelor degree in animal science from the University of Delaware. Her veterinary interests include behavioral medicine and surgery. She has completed her certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional (learn more at https://fearfreepets.com/ ) During her free time, Brittany enjoys playing roller derby on the local Charlottesville team, reading, spending time with her friends, watching movies, and spoiling her pet
Missy Sacre, LVT
Missy is born and raised in Charlottesville, VA, she graduated from PVCC in 2014 and then pursued a degree at Radford University. While at Radford she started working as a kennel attendant at local veterinary clinic and quickly fell in love with veterinary medicine. She moved back to Charlottesville in 2016 to attend the veterinary technology program at Blue Ridge Community College and graduated in May 2018. Before and during the program she worked in general practice and an emergency animal hospital. She is a Fear Free Certified Professional and plans on pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology. When not at work she and her husband enjoy going to concerts, traveling, fixing up their new home, and spending time with their furbabies. Siberian Huskies – Bandit, Maverick, and Odin. Norwegian Elkhounds – Brady and Gunnar. Three kitties – Cinnamon, Waffles, and Whiskey.
Shanah Rahm, LVT
Shanah is a 2019 graduate of the Veterinary Technology Program at Blue Ridge Community College. Shanah lives on a small farm with her boyfriend, three horses, two dogs, a cat, and a cow. She is excited to begin her career in veterinary technology at our practice and it makes her smile seeing clients pleased with the services we provide for their pets. She has completed her certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
Liz Wallenborn, LVT
Liz has been a Veterinary Technician since 1996. She joined the team at Monticello Animal Hospital in 2003. In 2009, she took a break from veterinary medicine when she had her wonderful daughter! She started back working part time in 2015. She has 1 dog, 5 cats, a guinea pig and a chameleon.
