Wanda Brubaker, LVT
Wanda graduated from Blue Ridge Community College and began her career as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Monticello Animal Hospital in May of 2001. Her veterinary interest include anesthesia and behavior. She has completed her certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional (learn more at https://fearfreepets.com/ ) She lives in Waynesboro and spends her free time traveling, relaxing at home, and spending quality time with family and friends, and spoiling her 2 dogs: Mixed Breed, Jaxon and Goldendoodle, Chevie, and 2 cats: Biscuit and Beanie.

Brittany Young-Kiesel, LVT
Brittany is originally from Newark, DE and is in Charlottesville with her four cats, Mistletoe, Dot, Alfredo, and Jackson. She has a bachelor degree in animal science from the University of Delaware. Her veterinary interests include behavioral medicine and surgery. She has completed her certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional (learn more at https://fearfreepets.com/ ) During her free time, Brittany enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and spoiling her pets.

Shanah Morris, LVT
Shanah is a 2019 graduate of the Veterinary Technology Program at Blue Ridge Community College. Shanah lives on a small farm with her husband, three horses, two dogs, a cat, and a cow. She started her career in veterinary technology at our practice in 2018 and it makes her smile seeing clients pleased with the services we provide for their pets. Emily Thomas, LVT
Emily has been with our practice since June 2019. She is a Charlottesville native and UVA alumni. She has a passion for animal behavior, including training and managing behavioral problems. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at Blue Ridge Community College in May 2023. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and her son, going hiking and paddleboarding. Emily has 3 cats; Peanut, Autumn, and Abraham Lincoln.

Sydney Cherry, LVT
Sydney graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 2024 and began her career as a full time Licensed Veterinary Technician at Monticello Animal Hospital in June of 2024. Her veterinary interest include anesthesia, equine rehabilitation and reproduction. She is currently working to become a Certified Equine Rehabilitationer through the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She has completed her small animal, equine, and avian certification and is a Fear Free Certified Professional (learn more at https://fearfreepets.com/ ) She lives in Fluvanna with her partner, Jacob and spends her free time traveling, exercising and building their farm. She has three Labrador Retrievers; Maverick, Xena and Ares, one Domestic Medium Haired cat named Achillia and 14 chickens.

Chloe Fritz, LVT
Chloe graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in May of 2024 and joined Monticello Animal Hospital as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her veterinary interest include laboratory work, dentistry, and caring for small and large animals. She spends her free time running, relaxing at home, and spending quality time with family and friends. She has 2 dogs and 2 cats: Maemae, Missy, Quade, and Bobby.
